MOSCOW, Dec 18 (PRIME) -- A slow decrease of egg and chicken meat prices is a natural process, while the government is taking all necessary measures, presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Monday.
"Why are they (the authorities) saying that an instant price decline is impossible to ensure? There is a certain market capacity, a saturation process, inertia. The goods arrive at a wholesale facility, it takes time for the wholesale to be reflected on retail. These are natural processes. The government continues active efforts," Peskov said.
